Joost Sytsma, Head of D&E Cross Products Performance and Integration, ASML.
Joost Sytsma received a masters in Condensed matter Physics in 1988 and a PhD in Physical Chemistry in 1991 from Utrecht University. He did research as Glen T. Seaborg fellow at the Lawrence Livermore and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratories, and afterwards on biophysics and confocal microscopy, again at Utrecht University.
He joined ASML in 1996. Here he has headed several multidisciplinary D&E teams, working on product development across ASML’s product portfolio.
As of 2019 he is responsible to integrate and verify ASML’s individual products into a fit for purpose customer solution. In this function, he is also responsible for the collaboration with IMEC.
